Hundreds of people have posted on Facebook after the deadly explosion in the Didi Digomi district of Tbilisi yesterday that they are ready to accommodate families, transport them, entertain frightened children and provide any necessary help.
One Facebook user wrote that he was ready to leave his toy store open to calm down and entertain frightened children.
“If your children are frightened and you are unable to calm them down, we are ready to entertain them, give them balloons and toys. We will do our best to help them sleep calmly,” Roma Kalandadze wrote.
There were dozens of messages offering free accommodation and food to people who had to leave their flats after the explosion.
Facebook users wrote their phone numbers and said that they were ready to come with their vehicles and take affected people to their houses or flats until they are returned back to their homes.

Café Apetito in Didi Digomi wrote “we are open and ready to help all those who need it after the explosion. You can stay here. We will provide free food and drink.”
Giorgi Kobidze wrote that he was standing with an emergency box and bottles of water in front of the block of flat and was ready to help those in need. He also offered free accommodation.
Many have offered to give blood.
Four people died last night, one minor among them, after an explosion on Avtandili Street in Didi Digomi.
A gas leak has been named as the likely reason behind the tragedy.
Eight people, six minors among them, received injures.
Five of the minors have already been discharged from hospitals.
Today is a day of mourning in Georgia.
