Air Malta, the flag carrier airline of Malta is launching Tbilisi-Malta flights from July 4, announces the United Airports of Georgia.
Flights will be carried out every Thursday by Airbus A 320 aircraft.
The United Airports of Georgia said that direct flights between Georgia and Malta will contribute to tourism development between the countries.
The French flag carrier Air France has made its inaugural flight from the French capital of Paris today, with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili being among its first passengers. Air France will be carrying out regular flights between Paris and Tbilisi twice a week until 23 October with an Airbus A 320.
