Newly elected Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has met with Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze on their first working meeting today.
Zurabishvili hosted the PM at the Atoneli presidential residency.
Future cooperation issues were discussed at the meeting, as well as the most important topics for Georgia and foreign trips.

Zurabishvili has stated that she will visit Brussels on her first official visit abroad and will hold meetings at the headquarters of NATO and the EU.
Zurabishvili is the last president of Georgia elected by the direct vote, as her successors will be elected by delegates from Tbilisi and the regions.
She will hold the post for six years instead of five, as her processors did.
President is no linger a top political figure of Georgia as the country has a parliamentary model of governance.
