Georgian Gov’t administration has a new head

The Georgian Prime Minister has presented Shalva Tadumadze as the new head of the Government of Georgia administration.
Tadumadze has served as the government’s parliamentary secretary and replaced Maia Tskitishvili in the role as the latter became the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development at the end of last month.
Kvirikashvili stated that Tadumadze "excellently fulfilled” his previous obligations and wished him success in the new position.
You know how important it is to ensure the quality of documents referred by the government to the parliament, so that our initiatives may be formulated flawlessly in legal terms. Everyone agrees that over this period, Shalva has done a perfect job performing his duties, exhibiting a high level of professionalism, and having been and remaining a very reliable asset of the government,” Kvirikashvili stated.
Kvirikashvili said that he is sure that Tadumadze will make for a successful head of the government’s administration.
Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has announced that Maia Tskhitishvili will be Georgia’s new Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure. Tskhitishvili has been the Head of the Government Administration since 2012. She will replace Zurab Alavidze, who took up the ministerial position in November 2016.
"The list [the President] has on the table today will be exactly the same in seven days and he will present this list to Parliament then,” said Georgia’s Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani while discussing President Giorgi Margvelashvili’s decision to postpone his signing of the new list of Cabinet members.
The current head of the Government Administration of Georgia, Shalva Tadumadze, has been selected for the chief prosecutor’s post by a special council created in 2015 to choose one candidate for the post.
