Georgian Prime Minister on state visit to Azerbaijan

A Georgian delegation headed by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will visit Azerbaijan today.

After an official welcoming ceremony at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, the Georgian Prime Minister will be hosted by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

PM Kvirikashvili will further meet with his Azeri counterpart, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade.

The face-to-face meeting between the two prime ministers will be followed by a larger format meeting including other members of the Georgian delegation.

The Georgian delegation headed by Kvirikashvili is comprised of the Economy Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze, Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze. Vice Speaker of Parliament Zviad Dzidziguri and the PM’s advisor in foreign affairs Tedo Japaridze.
