More books for inmates on int’l Women’s Day

Female inmates in Georgia have received dozens of books to mark the celebration of International Women’s Day today.

Hosting the Georgian writers at Rustavi Prison Colony #5, female inmates spoke about the importance of books in their daily lives.

Celebrated on March 8 every year, International Women’s Day honours women and serves as a reminder of the importance of gender equality and women’s rights.  and
