The 14-year-old son of Ahmad Pareulidze, who served as the chief guard of Georgian-born ISIS top terrorist Omar Al-Shishani, has died in Syria, Pankisi community radio reported.
The information was confirmed by the Georgian State Security Service.
The reason behind the death of Muhammad Pareulidze, whose family left for Syria in 2014 from Georgia’s Muslim-populated Pankisi Gorge, were injuries received during air attacks on the terrorists, Imedi TV reports.
The father of the killed minor served in the guard of Omar-Al Shishani, otherwise known as Tarkhan Batirashvili until 2016, before Americans killed the Georgian leader of ISIS in 2016 air strikes.
Shishani was one of several ISIS leaders most wanted by Washington, and put a $5 million USD bounty on his head.
It was reported that Ahmad Pareulidze also received severe wounds during the attack, however, he managed to recover.
Ahmad Pareulidze, his wife and three other children currently live in Syria, Pankisi community radio reports.
The Pareulidze family is receiving condolences after the death of Muhammad Pareulidze”, the radio reports.
The radio says that 32 individuals from the Pankisi Gorge have died fighting for ISIS in Syria.
