The Government of Georgia has allocated $265,000 to support Georgian emigrants who will be returning to their homeland.
The money is now within the Georgia’s Returned Migrants’ Reintegration Support Program and will be transferred to tender-winning NGOs.
The selected NGOs will have to spend the money for the returning migrants’ medical expenses, on small business financing, qualification trainings and temporary accommodations.
The grant program aims to support the creation of conditions that will support Georgians residing abroad illegally after their return to Georgia in order to successfully reintegrate into society.
