UK government adviser on Security and Crisis Management Issues General Sir Garry Johnson and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia have discussed Georgia’s national security reforms today.
“The meeting was very fruitful and we have exchanged our views regarding the security reforms ongoing in Georgia. Cooperation and dialogue in this regard is in the interest of both countries,’ Sir Garry Johnson said after the meeting.
The two parties have also discussed the possibility of creating a new body which would coordinate national security policy on a strategic level.
