Georgian PM meets Georgian athlete fighting in the highest league of the Ultimate Fighting Championship

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze has met with the only Georgian athlete fighting in the highest league of the American Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) under the Georgian flag.
UFC is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It is the largest MMA promotion company in the world and features the highest-level fighters on its roster.
Bakhtadze congratulated Dvalishvili on his most recent victory on 15 September against American Terrion Ware and thanked him for promoting Georgia in the United States and worldwide.
Bakhtadze wished the athlete success and vowed his support.
Georgian weightlifter, winner of the world and European championship, Lasha Talakhadze has been named as the athlete of the year by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport last night at an award ceremony held at Rustaveli Theatre.
Georgian mixed martial wrestler Roman Dolidze has been included in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s list of the 10 best athletes of 2022.
