Cooperation against organised crime discussed by Georgia and Ukraine

The Georgian Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia and his Ukrainian counterpart  Arsen Avakov have discussed cooperation against organised crime and so called ‘’thieves in law’’ at an official meeting in Ukraine.

Gakharia and Avakov also talked about ways of combating international drug crime and improving cybersecurity.

Ukraine has the best department of combating cybercrime in Europe, we would like to invite your officers to Georgia  in order for them to share their experience’’, Giorgi Gakharia said..

Gakharia and Avakov also discussed the importance of coastal security and further cooperation in this issue.
