Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze has presented the renewed cabinet of ministers.
There are three newcomers: Mikheil Batiashvili as the Minister of Education and Science, Ivane Machavariani as the Minister of Finance, and Giorgi Kobulia as the Minister of Economy.

I think the Ministry of Finance will be one of the major entities in this direction. As for inclusive growth, this will be also reflected in the priorities of the Ministry and implemented timely,” candidate for Finance Minister Ivane Machavariani said, who previously worked as financial and commercial director of communications company Geocell, former member of Teliasonera group.
The candidate for the Economy Minister Giorgi Kobulia spoke about his 18 years experience in the consultation business saying he is ready to share knowledge for the good of the country putting s major accent on agriculture and development of rural area where poverty is higher, as well as supporting small and medium Enterprises.
As PM Bakhtadze said all the plans and reforms initiated by him are going to be started during 2018-2019.
"Our major goal in the education system is to implement a five level reform to integrate the levels of preschool, primary, professional, higher education and science which gives us the possibility to implement innovative education models and ensure close ties between the education and economy. I am sure, Mikheil Batiashvili will help us in implementing this reform,” PM Bakhtadze said.
The renewed cabinet of ministers needs to be approved by the parliament.
