Georgian Education Minister elected honorary member of Academia Europaea

Georgian Minister of Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli has been elected an honorary member of the Academia Europaea, announces the Ministry of Education.

The Academia Europaea is a European, non-governmental association and acts as an academy of humanities, letters and sciences.

Members of the Academia Europaea are scientists and scholars who collectively aim to promote learning, education and research. Founded in 1988, the Academia Europaea is comprised of some 3,800 members which includes leading experts from the physical sciences and technology, biological sciences and medicine, mathematics, the letters and humanities, social and cognitive sciences, economics and the law.

As Georgia’s Ministry of Education announced the Academia Europaea will open a regional hub in Georgia in the near future.
