The famous newspapers and magazines of Estonia, China and Canada have published stories about Georgia within the 100th anniversary from the creation of the first Democratic Republic of Georgia in 1918, which Georgia celebrates on May 26.
The publications tell stories about the history of Georgia’s independence, its modern life and achieved progress.
Estonia’s diplomatic edition Suursaadik published interview with Georgian Ambassador to Estonia Tea Akhvlediani, where she talked about 100 years of history of Georgia’s independence and Georgian people’s European choice. The ambassador also talked about the friendly relations between Georgia and Estonia and highlighted the importance of Estonia’s support towards Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial independence.
Chinese magazine China Daily published interview with Georgian Ambassador Davit Aptsiauri which headline reads "Georgia to seek hub status in Belt, Road initiative”. In his interview with China Daily Aptsiauri spoke about dynamic relations between Georgia and China and Georgia’s strategically important geographical location that leads to Georgia’s aspiration to become the logistic hub between Europe and Asia.

Canada’s Ottawa Life Magazine an article with the headline: "Top diplomat brings experience and insight - makes an impact in Ottawa”. Under this headline the readers will read the interview with Georgian Ambassador Konstantine Kavtaradze, where he talks about Georgia’s historical path and European aspirations.
Also, Albilad newspaper in Saudi Arabia published an article "Georgia celebrates the 100th anniversary of Georgia’s First Democratic Republic", where interview with Georgian Ambassador Giorgi Janjghava is published.
In order to raise awareness of Georgia’s history it is planned to publish over 100 articles in different countries of the world within the 100th anniversary from the creation of the first Democratic Republic of Georgia.
