Georgia hosts 1st cyber security festival for students

The event organised by the non-governmental organization IDI with the support of Georgian University aimed at introducing the youth with the variety of issues related to cyber security.

Graduates of Georgian schools and university students took part in the very first cyber security festival in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi.

The event was organised by non-governmental organization Internet Development Initiative with the support of Georgian University and was aimed at introducing youth to a variety of issues related to cyber security.

In particular, participants were familiarised with:

  • Strategy, policy and development of cyber security;
  • New challenges of cyber security, hybrid wars;
  • Cyber security and Georgia;
  • Legal aspects of cyberspace, cyber crimes;
  • Technical course of cyberspace;
  • Elements of cyber security in business
