Ural Airlines to launch flight from Saint Petersburg to Kutaisi

Russian Air Company Ural Airlines plans to carry out direct flights from the Russian town of St. Petersburg to Georgia’s western town of Kutaisi.
Flights on the route St. Petersburg–Kutaisi–St. Petersburg will be performed once a week, on Wednesdays, starting April 28.
Flights will be carried out by Airbus A319/320/321 type aircrafts.

Ural Airlines carried out its debut flight from Russia’s capital of Moscow to Georgia’s Black Sea resort town of Batumi last year and offered service five times a week.
However, starting this May, the company promises to have nine flights instead, including two flights on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Both Kutaisi and Batumi airports are operated by TAV Georgia, the daughter company of Turkey-based TAV Airports Holding.
New direct flights will link the two capital cities of Ukraine and Georgia from next month.
The winter aviation season has begun, and with this, more flights will come into and out of Georgia’s three international airports.
With the summer aviation season now in full swing, more flights from a wide variety of airlines are flying into and out of the country.
Batumi International Airport in Georgia’s west coast is welcoming new airlines and new flight routes, offering new destinations and a better service for travellers in Georgia.
Kazakh air company SCAT Airlines plans to expand its flight destinations to all of Georgia's three intentional airports in the capital of Tbilisi, seaside resort of Batumi and western city of Kutaisi, while the Iranian Taban Airlines will increase its flight frequency.
