Georgia’s top economic and tourism experts are teaming up to create a master plan for the development of the country’s northeastern mountainous region of Tusheti.
The experts have set off to survey the area and design a proper plan for developing Tusheti, announced Georgia’s Ministry of Economy today.
The expedition will reveal the potential of Tusheti as a possible winter resort town of Georgia. The experts will find proper locations for developing winter sport and leisure infrastructure there.
During the week experts will conduct field work , beginning from the Omalo village of Tusheti, announced the Ministry of Economy.
Georgian company Studia 21 is responsible for surveying the area and creating spatial planning documents for Tusheti.
Studia 21 will survey 12 settlements in Tusheti.
