Young Georgian singer Natia Todua has become The Voice of Germany 2017 winner.
Todua, 21, who is originally from breakaway Abkhazia, Georgia performed "With A Little Help From My Friend" by The Beatles in the final episode of the talent show last night.
She won the competition after receiving 50.1 percent of total votes from the public. The singer who followed her to take second place received 25.45 percent of all votes.

Todua’s success was celebrated in Georgia as well. The country’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and President Giorgi Margvelashvili took to Twitter to say that "Georgia is proud of her”.

Currently Todua lives in Germany and works as an au pair girl in a German family. After winning the major competition with 26,000 participants, she hopes to start a successful singing career.
