Georgia congratulates Romania on its national day

Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze has sent congratulations to Romania on the occasion of its national day.

Highlighting friendship between Georgia and Romania, Janelidze welcomed that the two countries are celebrating 25 years of diplomatic relations this year.

Minister Janelidze thanked Romania for supporting Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, as well as its commitment to Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He said economic cooperation between Georgia and Romania has great potential of development especially in transport and energy.

Great Union Day celebrated on December 1 is the national holiday in Romania.
