Georgian clarinetist Levan Tskhadadze will team up with pianist David Aladashvili in a Christmas concert cheering up Tbilisi audience at the Fabrika venue.
The Tbilisi Wind Festival founder will be joined by the Juilliard School Conservatory graduate to delight listeners stopping by at the former Soviet sewing factory.
Tskhadadze and Aladashvili will play works by 20th century composers and pianists George Gershwin and Francis Poulenc to create an intimate festive mood.

The audience can look forward to hearing Gershwin’s Three Preludes for Clarinet and Piano and Rhapsody in Blue as well as the Sonata for Clarinet and Piano by Poulenc.
Those also interested in more contemporary genres will also be treated with a DJ set by local artist Misho Urushadze.
The Christmas event will be hosted by Fabrication of Music, a project promoted as "synthesis of classical music and clubbing event” at the Tbilisi venue.
Levan Tskhadadze has been recognised for his musical performances with the Francois Leleux Wind Competition Prize in Tbilisi and a grant from Solo, founded by well-known Austrian pianist and teacher Elisabeth Leonskaja.

The young clarinetist founded the Tbilisi Wind Festival in 2009 and directs the annual editions of the event.
David Aladashvili rose to prominence in 2010 after performing at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Centre venues.
Aladashvili was the first Georgian student studying at New York’s private Juilliard School Conservatory.
