New Director General appointed for Georgian Railway

The supervisory board of Georgian Railways has appointed a new Director General - Davit Peradze.
The position has become vacant since the previous General Director Mamuka Bakhtadze was appointed as the Minister of Finance of Georgia this month.
As for Peradze, he previously was the director of Mtkvari Hesi at Georgian Co-Investment Fund.
Peradze also worked at Georgian Railways in 2004-2007 where he had different positions during this time within the Booz Allen Hamilton/USAID project.

Georgian Railway has launched a new mobile application, giving locals as well as tourists the chance to purchase railway tickets through a mobile application.
