Georgia received $123 million from abroad in October 2017, while remittances leaving Georgia totalled $18.5 million, says the National Bank of Georgia.
Last month Georgia received 20 percent more in remittances than in October of 2016.
Russia ($39.3 million), Greece ($13.2 million) and Italy ($12.7 million) were the largest remittance senders in October 2017.
Overall, the vast majority (92.9 percent) of all money transfers from abroad came from 14 countries.
