Two Georgian citizens detained on November 3-5 by Russia-controlled border guards have been released today after they paid fines for "illegal crossing” of border.

Zempira Pliev and Pridon Jenarashvili spent several days at Tskhinvali detention facility in Georgia’s eastern occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.

The duo, who live in Georgia’s Kareli region near the occupation line with Tskhinvali, were released after they paid 2,000 rubles each, which equals 34USD.
