Award-winning Austrian mezzo-soprano Yvonne Manfreda and Spanish conductor Borja Quintas will join the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra for a concert paying homage to Gustav Mahler’s music in Georgia’s capital on Sunday.
The two acclaimed European artists will perform works by the late-Romantic era composer at the city’s Jansug Kakhidze Centre for Music and Culture.
They will showcase the music of one of the most frequently performed composers whose work represented a transition from the 19th century composing to the 20th century modernism.
