German Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Roth says that Georgia is developing in the right direction.
Roth, who is paying a visit to Tbilisi, met with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili today.
"It is important for us to improve our bilateral relations and strategic partnership”, he told Kvirikashvili.
The pair discussed bilateral issues, 25-year-old diplomatic relations, ongoing reforms in Georgia and the country’s relations with the European Union.
"It was stressed at the meeting that Georgia is a front-runner of the Eastern Partnership and the country has achieved great progress”, the Prime Minister’s press office said following the meeting.

Kvirikashvili thanked Ruth for Germany’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He added that Georgia is a reliable partner for Germany in the region.
The meeting also discussed education reform in Georgia and sharing Germany’s experience in this regard.
