A joint representation of a state-owned shareholding company Partnership Fund (PF) and a Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has been opened in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.

The representation office will aim to attract more investments from China, support implementation of joint projects and to boost Georgia-China trade relations.

Furthermore, the office will promote Georgia’s investment environment and opportunities in China.

The need to open a representation in China once again proves that there is growing interest of Chinese investors towards Georgia. The joint centre will work with double energy to attract investments and strategic projects in Georgia,” said head of the PF Davit Saganelidze.

The director of the joint centre will be Tamar Namoradze from the PF side. As for the GCCI, their candidate for the director position will be announced later.
