Georgian Economy Minister joins int’l transport conference

Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Gakharia participated in the international transport conference in the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

In his speech Gakharia spoke about Georgia’s role as the "gate” between east and west, south and north.

The conference aims at creating a competitive transport environment in Europe and Asia, the harmonisation of transport policy of the participating countries and the formation of transport flow between Europe and Asia for developing integrated transport corridors.

Georgia was represented at the international conference along with the state delegations and private entities of Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Lithuania and China.
