Georgia's national basketball team has gained its second victory in the Eurobasket 2017 European Basketball Championship last night.
Georgia defeated hosting Israel in overtime with a final score of 104:91. The victory meant that Georgia stays in the race for the next phase of the competition.
Georgia’s Tornike Shengelia was back to high-scoring mode as he tallied 25 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists in the victory.

Israel stayed in front throughout three quarters. The hosts snatched a narrow 70:67 lead before the fourth term. But Georgia dropped 22 points in the next quarter to force overtime.
The visitors then went on a furious 15:2 run in the extra period and secured a key win.
Georgia’s NBA star Zaza Pachulia tallied 19 points. Michael Dixon added 18 points for Georgia.
Georgia defeated Lithuania in its opener but then lost two games in a row against Germany and Ukraine.
Looking ahead, Georgia will take on Italy this evening.
