EBRD President: Georgian economy developing fast

The President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Sir Suma Chakrabarti said "the Georgian economy is developing even faster than we expected”.
Meeting with the Georgian Minister of Economy Giorgi Gakharia Chakrabarti spoke about investment opportunities in Georgia, competitiveness of private sector as well as Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) and priorities of EBRD.

Chakrabarti believes Georgia has huge opportunities in the region due to its geographic location.
President of EBRD arrived to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi earlier today. He has scheduled to meet with the Georgian government representatives and participate in a meeting of the Council of Investors.
President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Sir Suma Chakrabarti has visited Georgia for two days. The EBRD official was met by Georgia’s Minister of Finance Dimitri Kumsishvili at the Tbilisi International Airport.
