4-star hotel Best Western Plus Batumi opens doors in Black Sea city

A new four-star hotel has been opened in Georgia’s Black Sea resort city of Batumi, providing additional space for the growing numbers of tourists and guests to the city.

Head of Adjara Autonomous Republic Government Zurab Pataradze opened the new hotel Best Western Plus Batumi on July 22.

Located on Lech and Maria Kachinsky street, the six-floor hotel features 50 rooms, a lobby lounge, café ‘Terrace 7 Bar’, a conference hall and an open swimming pool.

The construction of the Best Western Plus Batumi started in 2016 and 5 million GEL (about $2.09m/€1.79m*) was invested.

Every week we open a new hotel and object. Such projects support the development of our region,” said Pataradze after opening the new hotel in Batumi.

100 people were employed during the construction works, while today 40 local people are employed at the hotel.
