Wissol opens first charging station for electric cars

Wissol, a network of petrol stations in Georgia, opened its first charging station for electric cars in Tbilisi, on the 13th kilometer of Agmashenebeli Alley.

Drivers of electric cars will be able to charge their vehicles at the station free of charge.

The company plans to open another such station in Gori until the end of summer. 

There are two other electric car charging stations in Tbilisi, one on Europe square and another at Turtle Lake.

The Government of Georgia plans to provide up to 100 such stations around Georgia by the end of 2017.
