Street named after the late Georgian soldier in Belarus

A street in the Belarusian capital of Minsk will carry the name of a Georgian military servant.
The late Dimitri Gviashiani who studied at Belarusian military academy, saved the lives of several passengers of a train that has been caught in fire back in 1999.

Gvishiani has received the state award for bravery in Belarus posthumously.
More than 55,000 people attended the Georgian festival Tbilisoba 2017 in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, as the interest in the event was "unprecedented”, Georgia’s Foreign Ministry reported.
