US Embassy awards Georgian security officials

The United States (US) Embassy in Georgia has awarded officials from Georgia’s State Security Service for their efforts to make Georgia-US bilateral relations a success.

Deputy Chief of the US mission in Georgia Nickolas Berliner awarded two officials with Certificates of Appreciation on behalf of Ambassador Ian Kelly for "dedication to bilateral cooperation” and "efforts in support of Regional Security Office”.

Berliner awarded with certificates Irakli Chimakadze, director of Counterterrorism Center under the State Security Service and Merab Shengelia, head of Demining unit under the Special Operations Department.
