Gov’t gifts houses to 100 eco-migrant families

Around 656 refugee families living in sub-standard conditions received apartments in private ownership, Refugees Minister Sozar Subari said today.

The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia gifted flats to 100 eco-migrant families today. 

The houses are located in Tsalka, Lagodekhi, Tetritskaro, Akhmeta, Signagi, Gori, Khoni and Ninotsminda municipalities, in the country’s east and west. 

The families were also given plots of land under their ownership. 

The Government has handed houses to 443 eco-migrant families since 2016.
