Georgia is taking genuine steps to significantly develop the medical clinics throughout the country.

To achieve this goal Georgia's state-owned shareholding company, the Partnership Fund (PF) is teaming up with Austrian company AlphaMedic Consortium and Georgia’s Ministry of Labour Health and Social Affairs.

Today all three sides held a meeting in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi to discuss the Medical Clinics Development project details.

Based on the research of state-owned medical clinics in Georgia, conducted by the PF in partnership with the Global Alliance for Health and Social Compact, the Georgian Government announced a tender on management, ownership and operation of state medical clinics in Georgia.

In December 2015 the Government revealed AlphaMedic Consortium was a winner candidate of the tender.

According to the tender requirements, AlphaMedic Consortium was obliged to attract investments and create the medical clinics development concept. At the same time the company should design, construct and / or reconstruct the state medical clinics to EU standards, including equipping them with high-quality medical technology.
