Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon is set to pay his first ever official visit to Georgia.
The upcoming visit was announced yesterday when Georgia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani said the Ministry was working on the details of the important visit.
"I cannot tell you the exact dates yet as it’s still being arranged but we will know the dates in the nearest future,” Zalkaliani said.
He added the visit would be "utterly important” as the UN was the organisation involved in a number of important projects in Georgia.
