Million dollar recreation centre to open in Bakuriani, Georgia

A multi-million GEL new health and recreation centre will open in Georgia’s iconic Bakuriani ski resort.
Today the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia announced local company Gino Wellness Group will invest 4.2 million GEL (about $1.81 million/€1.63 million*) to open a multi-functional wellness and fitness centre in the popular winter area.
For this purpose Georgia’s National Agency of State Property sold a 76,308 m2 section to Gino Wellness Group for 500,000 GEL (about $216,000/€194,800*) so the company could invest in the new project.
The project envisaged to build a recreational park for 500 people with open and closed swimming pools, restaurants, cafes, a fitness zone and parking.
