Georgia’s national rugby team has begun the 2016 rugby season with an impressive international victory.
The team defeated Germany 59-7 before a home crowd in Tbilisi in its first game of the European Championship 2016 today.

The Georgian side scored nine tries, and gained a bonus point too.

Looking ahead, Georgia will hold two more home games – one against Spain on February 27 and the other against Romania on March 19.
In the meantime the Lelos will play two games abroad – one against Portugal on February 13 and the other against Russia on March 12.
