Georgia’s Parliament will vote and decide whether or not to support the country’s new Cabinet on Saturday, November 26.
Today Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze said Acting Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili had presented the new Cabinet of Ministers and the Governmental program to Parliament.
Now it was up to the legislative body to discuss the program and decide whether or not to give a vote of confidence to the renewed Government.
Today, on Thursday November 24, committee hearings will take place where each Parliamentary Committee will listen to their respective minister nominee. The next day, on November 25, Parliamentary factions, the majority and minority will meet and listen to the new Prime Minister and ministerial nominees.
Meanwhile consultations are underway between Parliament and President Giorgi Margvelahsvili in order to schedule an extraordinary plenary meeting on Saturday to hold the vote.
