Qatar Airways increases flight frequency between Doha and Tbilisi

Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, is increasing flight frequency to Georgia for the winter aviation season.

From December 15 Qatar Airways will serve additional Doha-Tbilisi-Doha flights and perform regular flights 11 times a week instead of seven.

The new services have already been approved by Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.

Meanwhile, starting from November, three new airlines from Russia, Ukraine and Turkmenistan will perform regular flights from Tbilisi to different destinations.

Russian low-cost airline Pobeda will start regular flights from November 1 between Tbilisi and Rostov in Russia.

Turkmenistan's flag carrier, Turkmenistan Airlines, will launch flights on November 2 and link Georgia's capital Tbilisi and Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s capital.

Thirdly, DART Airlines of Ukraine will begin regular flights between Tbilisi and Kiev from November 27.
