Publication of public opinion poll results is temporarily suspended ahead of Saturday’s Parliamentary Election in Georgia.
The Election Code of Georgia prohibits publishing of opinion poll results for 48 hours before voting.
This ban started at 8am today and will continue until 8pm of Election Day – Saturday, October 8.
Only once polling stations are closed to voters, organisations are allowed to release public opinion poll results, or exit polls, speculating the winners and losers of the election.
