Art enthusiasts in Georgia's capital are invited to an exhibition where a group of local artists have come together to present a novel exhibition of clay creations.

Tomorrow Tbilisi's Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery will open its doors and launch the exhibition that explores clay material as a "way of communication with the outside world".

Within the Clay Wall Piece exhibition, Georgian artists will come together to show off their creations against the bright backdrop of the venue's white walls.

The presentation will be in "no reference to the traditional forms of ceramics," said the Georgian National Museum's preview of the event.

The artists involved in the project are known in Georgia and abroad for their clay creations. Art institutions including France's International Academy of Ceramics and the prestigious Saatchi Art gallery feature these artists on their websites.

Visitors of the National Gallery will be able to view the display for three weeks before the exhibition ends on October 26.
