Old Town district in Georgia’s capital was bustling with excitement after construction workers, police officers and cafe patrons spontaneously started performing classical music masterpieces in a surprise flash mob.
Dressed in all types of attire, musicians from the Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra (Georgian Sinfonietta) unexpectedly sat down at a specially arranged orchestra space in a small public square near Metekhi Bridge in Old Town Tbilisi.
They picked up string and wind instruments and began playing classical compositions to the stunned crowd.

Organisers said the flash mob aimed to promote and underline Georgia's cultural ties with Europe.
Before the performance, orchestra members mingled with the public, who were unaware of their good intentions. One wore a police uniform while several others wore municipal high visibility clothing and came down from nearby buildings to participate in the street show.
The orchestra was led by young Georgian clarinettist Levan Tskhadadze, who is the founder and artistic director of the Tbilisi Wind Festival.
The flash mob performed renditions of songs by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and late Georgian composer Revaz Lagidze, arranged for the occasion by Archil Giorgobiani.
The flash mob event, titled Share the Vibe, was organised by the Georgian Centre for Security and Development and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
