Russia, the United States (US) and Greece top the 13 big donor countries from where Georgia receives the largest amount of remittances.
Last month Russia transferred $37.7 million to Georgia, which was 37.4 percent of all money transfers.
Following behind was the US with $11 million in money transfers and Greece, also with $11 million.
Overall Georgia received $100.7 million from abroad in July 2016. This was 10.4 percent more year-on-year (y/y), said the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
NBG said 92.3 percent of the total money transfers from abroad came from 13 large donor countries. The amount of money these 13 countries collectively transferred to Georgia made up 91.7 percent of the total volume of money transfers, said the Bank.

Last month $15.7 million was transferred out of Georgia. This was slightly higher than the $12.6 million transferred out in July 2015, said NBG.
