A new miniature park on Georgia’s Black Sea coastline featuring miniature models of Georgian sights and figures of musicians is opening today after being handed over by developers.

The Cartu Charity Foundation - a charity fund established and financed by Georgian tycoon and former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili - invested about 10 million GEL to build the miniature park.

Today the Foundation will officially gift the park to the state.

The park is spread over two hectares of land and is located in Shekvetili, about half an hour north of Batumi in western Georgia.

This is the second investment project the Foundation will gift to the state.

Last month the Cartu Charity Foundation officially gifted the state the new Black Sea Arena concert venue, in which about $100 million USD was invested.
