Georgian air travellers will soon enjoy cheap flights from Kutaisi International Airport via Istanbul to more than 30 European destinations.
Amsterdam, Brussels, Cologne, Copenhagen, Milan, Munich, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Vienna, and Zurich are among the European cities where Pegasus Airlines will soon carry passengers.
The Turkey-based low cost airline will launch its first flight to these destinations on May 19.
The price of one-way tickets from Kutaisi to Europe will start from €70.99 (178.82 GEL) while a round-trip will cost from €145.51 (366.54 GEL).
From May 19, flights will be carried out three times per week – on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Also on May 19, Pegasus Airlines will launch Kutaisi-Istanbul flights. Tickets for this service will start from €29.99 (75.55 GEL).
Meanwhile, several low-cost airlines recently announced they would begin flights into and out of Georgia. One of them was Ellinair of Greece, which will begin flights on June 8. Passengers will be able to use the Georgia-Greece route once per week.
