Romania’s Defence Minister visits Georgia

Head of Romania’s Defence Ministry has begun a two-day official visit to Georgia.
Romanian Minister of Defence Mircea Dusa arrived in Tbilisi yesterday for his first official visit to Georgia.
While here the Romanian official is due to meet with his Georgian counterpart, Minister Mindia Janelidze at Georgia’s Defence Ministry.
In addition, Dusa is also scheduled to meet Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Giorgi Margvelashvili and representatives of the legislative branch of Georgia.
The Romanian Minister is due to depart Georgia on April 6.
"Romania is one of the strongest supporters of Georgia”, says head of Romania’s Defence Ministry Mircea Dusa.
The Georgian and Romanian Ministers of Defence have discussed Black Sea security and the countries’ roles in ensuring security in the Black Sea area.
