12-month target: Georgia’s state budget to be fulfilled in surplus

Georgia is ending the year 2015 on a financial high - the state budget fulfilled its revenue plan and is experiening a significant surplus.

Today Georgia’s Finance Minister candidate Nodar Khaduri released the preliminary information about the 2015 year’s budget.

Khaduri said, as of December 28, 2015 Georgia’s state budget incomes have been fulfilled by 100 percent and amounted to 9.7 billion GEL.

2015 year’s state budget revenues reached eight billion GEL, 27.8 million GEL more than expected.

In the same time state budget expenditure reached 9.5 billion GEL, which was 98.8 percent of the annual plan for the budget expenditures.

Meanwhile, earlier this year Khaduri announced Georgia would have about 10 billion GEL in the state budget in 2016.
