Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics is coming to Tbilisi today.
Rinkevics will be welcomed by Georgian Foreign Minister, Vice Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili when he arrives this afternoon.
The pair will hold an official meeting and discuss bilateral relations tomorrow.
While in Georgia the Latvian official will also meet Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili.
As a sign of Latvia’s firm support for Georgia’s territorial integrity, Rinkevics will travel to the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) that separated breakaway Tskhinvali region from the rest of Georgia to locally observe the results of Russian creeping occupation of Georgian soil.
The Latvian official will leave Georgia on November 25.
