Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili hosted the former Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi late yesterday.

The former British high official visited Georgia only for several hours after he was personally invited by Garibashvili.

At a business dinner the politicians discussed the running democratic reforms in Georgia as well as the current situation in the region and in the wider world.

After the dinner Garibashvili and Blair took the funicular, connecting lower Tbilisi to its high point, and viewed the best sights of the Georgian capital from Mtatsminda Hill.

Blair left Georgia later last night after his short visit. Garibashvili accompanied the British former official to the Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport and thanked him for coming to Georgia.
